Sky's 91 TSi AWD 4Spd INTRO

I guess i'll use this as my intro as well. My name is Brandon for those that don't know me. I've been on the boards for a while but i never post up much.
I come to the Richboro meet almost every week in a beat as rusted ford ranger. its all dented to hell and usually has a bed full of junk. Anyway I thought now that me car is nearing roadworthyness i might finally Come on and tell about my car

As it sits it is a 1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD with a 4 speed automatic transmission. In true DSM fashion it has made a hell of a nice drive way ornament for the better part of the last two years. well now after a full bottom end build and a little work on the head its up and running (mods listed in garage). Still doesn't move yet but its running. as of right now all i need to do is fill the trans and bleed the brake system. I also have an SRT-4 stock FMIC that i am planing on setting up to run on the 14b. these are all things i want to get done in the next couple weeks so stay tuned.

Update. The car ahs been sitting again for about 3 weeks now. I came home one night and parked the car. Woke up next morning and it wouldn't start. insepcted the motor for anything obvious and found the the tensioner pully was no longer doing it job as i could pull the timing belt off with ease. lucked out and as far as i can tell no internal damage. timing belt is redone and i'm waiting for a starter. also had issues with the trans. wouldn't shift out of 3rd at all. no first no second no OD. got new comp just waiting now for the starter so i can see if t shifts. can't drive it cause of a 30 day suspension on lisense. seeyas all in mid march.

Pull the tcu codes before replacing it. If the tcu doesnt output anything then its shot.

The 14b has plently of potential on one of these cars. Especially because he wouldn't have to upgrade the converter.

here yas go my friends camera is pretty ****ty so they are mildly blurry. i get better pics soon. the car is peeling the clear real bad on the hood lids and fenders so it looks like hell. the shot of the engine looks real good you can see the HBC EVO on the sorta and also a nice shot of the pretty orange motor that lurks benieth. shot of the helmet waintin to be used as soon as i get this back on the road. the FMIC should look familiar to some TST members on here, no i still haven't had new end tanks made yet, and finally i kept the stats fomr the pistons and rods. i'll get more if i figure out how to be able to upload them.

Here's the lastest and greatest. haven't had much time for it latly so its been sitting for a while fixed the starter issue and the shifting issue over the last couple weeks. still for the life of me can't get the trans pan to stop leaking. tried 2 diferent gaskets and black RVT. other then that the car is running great. for now i am going to steal an idea i saw on another forum and register the car as a classic for the time being to save on insurance. once the DD is paid off i will register it normally again and take my raping from the insurance companies. anyway hope to see you all very soon.

dude, Im in the same shoes as you. I have a 99 gsx stick. I just finished up the motor. Now i have to do the install. Should be Sick. Are you taking her to maple grove in march?

the motors been in the car for quite a while now I just never had a scanner to upload them before.I'm hoping to be at the track by march but its probable that I won't make it till late april
