Saturday was the end of year Supra meet at E-Town. It was pretty cold but the track prep was pretty good, first run off the trailer I ran a 9.9 and they actually gave me a warning before booting me, "no more 9's or your gone". Well like I said it was cold and whats the point of running 10's all day?

So next run I went 9.73 @ 142.

The car has a lot more in it, my bottle pressure was only 650psi @ 1100psi the car leaves wayyyy harder.

Yup that was me sitting behind "Jourdan". He was freaking out at the toll booth cause the guy in front of him gave the attendant a $100 bill, so we were there for 15 minutes while they exchanged information.

Thanks for the compliment.

Rich, I'm posting up my video of your run too. Mine gives a NICE clean shot of the results at the end. and it starts with your burnout. I'm just waiting on Youtube to process it and I'll post the link.

I can't wait to see what mine runs.

I only took a few pics. The White Supra bogged HARD off the line and he only ran a 13.92@93.62 with a 3.24 60' I don't know what's wrong with the car, but it should've trapped a lot higher than 93mph.

Nah...he was pretty cool. If he wouldn't be able to take a joke, I don't think he'd have that sticker on there.

The In car vid is from last year, that vid helped me discover that one of my walbro pumps was going bad.

I generally tune the car at 11.2 for nitrous, and 11.7 on boost alone.

What fuel do you use? How much timing do you usually run?

VPC C-16 usually, I prefer VP Import if I can get it, you can run more timing on import.

I typically run a max of 20-22 degrees advance after peak TQ

I noticed that also with the import. I was seeing around 28 degrees with import off the bottle and around 26 on C16. With that much timing Im wondering if I should take out a good amount when spraying (150 progressive) or if I should just pull the "normal" 2-3 degrees. My gut tells me to pull alot out.

Pull a lot at first and then add it back in gradually paying close attention to your knock voltage, anything over .5 volts and your detonating.

I will say that nitrous starts making serious power when you run agressive timing. Just be safe.

Im thinking Im gonna pull around 5 degrees to start and add it back from there. I can read actual knock so that wont be a problem. Like you said nitrous will add tons of power when running alot of timing so I dont want to lose that benefit. Thanks

Wow is that you Eddie?

I haven't saw you in years, last I heard you were building a 968.

I was just watching an old vid I took of you from Atco back in like 1995 when you won the finals with no 2nd gear.

I was racing a copper 2nd gen DSM running 11's at the time, I doubt you remember me.

For all the young guys on here that don't know you, Listen to whatever advice he gives. MAd props

Just noticed your age was 18, you must work for Eddie?
