I'm big into diving and wondered if anyone else is into diving and underwather photography?

I am, but I took most my pics with those $20 underwater cameras long ago. Didn't get any on disc since it was not offered at the time.

Scuba diving is really cool, same with those pictures. I surf (thus the screen name, S is for Surfing), which is not similar at all except that it's in the ocean, but that's the best I can do.
Encountered a shark once, about 8 feet away, it wasn't as scary as I'd thought. More eerie than horrifying...

actually I take that back. The shark I saw was maybe 7 feet, the one in the video would make me freak.

I just checked the vid and I am amazed. I am surprised the shark didn't bother you guys! From the quick glance it looks like your partner had a bright tank too. My SCUBA instructor was diving off of Catalina Island with an bright Orange tank and the Shark bumped his tankhard, and my instructor said it was because of the bright colors.

my partner is my dad... I even have a shot of him trying to get closer to the shark to get his pic with it...

you have to be careful, but you dont look like food to them when you're down there so they're more scared of you.

but then again, those are only sand tiger sharks...

I've been diving once. Kinda cool, but I don't like the idea of being that far underwater. I'd rather snorkel.
