My buddy has a 92 Prelude si with the h23 in it and he wants to do an h22 swap so bad but hes low on money so im trying to figure out if he can do just a head swap. Ive owned b-series all my life so thats pretty much all i know, but is there any head he can put on that motor to make it a vtec so he doesnt have to do a whole swap?

Some sites are saying u can just put an H22a VTEC head onto the h23 block but im not sure

I'm pretty sure you can do just the head swap...but the H23 is a decent motor on its own..vtec is overrated, I believ eyou can acctually swap the H22 on to some of the F blocks too...I'll see if i can find some info on either head swap

ya I know hte h23 is a pretty good motor by itself very torquey...but he has some obsession with having to have a vtec motor.
