View Full Version : Painted Valve cover today.

Heres some new pics today of my painted valve cover. Just prepped and painted it yesterday, than let it cure overnight. Also made a purchase today from CBD, ordered the CF Radiator Shroud and Fuse Box Cover to go along with the injector cover, so that will complete the carbon fiber underhood theme. Next up is MSD plugwires and heat shield. Comments and criticism welcome. :jester:

take a dremel with a rough drum on it... rough them bitches up til they are shiney yet textured... itll be phat

Did you use high temp paint. Those things can get pretty hot, you wouldnt want the paint to get messed up from the heat...

yea i used high temp caliper paint good up to 900 degrees, or so they say haha. Sprayed it with wd40 and let it soak, than a soap and water bath and sanded with 180 grit paper, another bath to clean it than sprayed the color.
