Haha from the looks of it he is from the allentown area because that dyno is located right over by the driver licensing center, nothing like someone having their own personal dyno. This is where my car will be going when we tune, and if this is the same supra that was at sheetz from time to time this thing is far from being slow!!!!

I am definatly happy with the results. Once again I never came on here to be an ass or to make this a big secret. I was holding back for a couple of days because of some competition in the area. Unfortunatly something went wrong for the one guy, so will wait for spring time.

nope. silver on M/T and loud as all get :) the c5 and 944 are neck and neck with the edge going to the 944. both are extreamly fast. the 944 is a def. sleeper.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I know someone that had a guy line up next to him in a Mustang with slicks and all...and he toasted the Stang...then he asked how he launched so hard in a Supra...he told him...it's easy...315 wide DR, TH400 leaving on a trans brake...it works every time.

There are a lot of factors that go into a race, what tires were you both running, what's the weight of your car? What were the conditions like when the car was dynoed, what type of dyno were they both run on...so on and so forth.
My friends and I put it in and tuned it.

we both ran et drags. its weight 3360lbs without me and all my **** in there. i have know idea about the supra and i dont care. i know all about dyno trust me. i was on a mustang dyno, idk about him. some mid 30 year old came up to me and ask to race my daily driver at the time. we went down to a safe road and lined it up. by the time i clicked 2nd gear it was way over.
i know dyno numbers can vary from dyno to dyno, but not that much. 40hp max!

yeah...it takes the driver out of the race whatever. if you ever owned a car with 600+whp and 600+wtq than you would understand. its very simple...ya wanna know whos car is better in the 1320, ya race from a dig....you wanna know whos car puts up more ponies...run from a roll. i dont see what the big problem is.
its like all the people that bitch about Nascar not being a "REAL" race cause all they do is turn left....i ask you, WHO CARES?!?!?! thats why there are differant forms of racing for differant types of vehicles.
not everyone builds a car to run the 1/4...some people just build cars to enjoy them.

Very good point. I honestly can't say that I'll ever run the Supra in the 1/4...I may do it just for sh!ts and giggles, but that's about all. I'd hope to break into the 9's, but wouldn't be upset if I didn't.

:iagree: having a 600+ rwhp car myself i can tell you it is not just put your foot down and shift.... controlling wheel spin, hitting the proper shift points to put you at the right rpm in the next gear, etc..... i personally love going from a roll low or high.... everyone has a car for different things.

I believe I'm meeting up with Sideways Saturday night sometime I believe. I wont be running for a dig for a couple of reasons. 1. I wont hook, 2. Not that many areas here to do that 3. My car isnt a dig car period. 4. I like running from a roll. If we could set something up at a dragstrip, I'd rather take my chances there. Were going to be messing around on 78 with a couple of his buddies and mine. If you want to show up I'll have a race for you from a dig.

Can't really see the vids right now at work, but based on your numbers (if your not bull****ing) you can improve A LOT. Spend the dough on the aem now and toss that afc crap in the dumpster. We made 545&490 @ 18psi on a PT61 with **** ass BL manifold and our own 4"dp and exhaust in our last SC300 NA/T car. Proper management definetly contributed to those numbers. Spend that cheese on it and you'll be way happier with the car.

I'd love to but the fact that I dont know how to use the aem will bug me. I hate having to have somebody else do it for me. Honestly I'm happy with the resaults, after I put some cams in I'm sure it will go much higher. But thanks for the advice:)

AEM software is complex for major tuning...just to mess with fuel maps and such is actually kinda simple. Besides, if you get the AEM, Justin can tune the hell out of it for track and then tune it for daily driveability. That's what he's gonna do with mine...I'm gonna have him tune it for 93 octane on like 22psi and then tune it for somewhere around 40psi on VP Import.

other than that the vpc system works great, and doesnt cost much at all, i would use vpc if i had a supra.
