Repeatedly...
First time I had no idea he wanted to play...
The second and third times it was still pretty rediculous ownage.
When I got home, I looked up the specs on the car. Now I have no idea what he actually had...but I'm guessing it must have been the V8 TT with how bad he spanked me.
Anyway...it was impressive to say the least. :prayer:

It didn't fit the description of what I would call a wagon.
Feel free to find him on 202 and ask him about it.

there's a silver RS6 sedan that i see around newtown from time to time... older guy with gray hair driving it... once with some older ladies in it, once with a younger girl... makes me wonder if its just a luxury car to him or if he really does drive it how it should be driven.
hmm maybe i should talk to him and tell him if he wants to sell it years down the road to get in touch with me

Take it back then. Guess the stupid US spec had to have a screwed up designation over the last year or two.

Yeah, i meant the REAL rs6 is a wagon so watever u saw is just wat they feed the americans as an rs6 :D I bet its still fast, not sure if its still a v8tt with 450hp tho.

That thing was crazy fast.

These typically put down 350-375awhp on ANY dyno. This is with a very broad HP curve too. That is fast, no doubt. Rediculous for a stock car, but then again they are around $80K IIRC.
Very few people with cars strong enough to take one of these convincingly here. Not putting anyone down, just stating the facts.
Just for a reference, my GT30 turboed STI made 340whp on 93oct. I put many $ and man hrs to get it up to that, these guys have considerbly more than that stock  . I still would not expect to beat one of these with my HP even given a couple hundred lbs weight advantage.
Surely no shame in losing that one.
How much HP do you estimate in your SC G3 BTW?

How much HP do you estimate in your SC G3 BTW?270 with a poop tune right now. I'm waiting anxiously for the e-manage so I can correct that. I'm also going to be upping the boost slightly. I expect to be over 300 in the next 30-60 days.

That's a realistic goal and should be obtainable.
slavetothemuzic
06-24-2005, 09:48 AM
That's a realistic goal and should be obtainable. It's well beyond realistic. There were many issues during the dyno pulls I made. I'm sure 15-25 hp can easily be made up with proper tuning and temperature conditions. With the additional boost, I have no doubt it will break 300. I am curious to see how far over 300 I'll get. 315-325 perhaps. One can hope.
Once I do that, I really need to start concentrating on strengthening other things. Motor mounts, tranny upgrade, LSD, etc.

There was a silver RS6 with NY plates at Atco last year running 12.5@115. Not sure if it was the newer V8 or not. They're fast, but not untouchable

Probably has something to do with it.
Btw, nice sig man! I'm still working on mine. I just need a few more pics of my wheels, motor, and bov. It needs some touching up but here a rough start:

Wrong wrong wrong
The Avant is the word for the Wagon in America
RS6 comes in sedan or wagon in the US
Audi knows how to make a twin turbo car by using small turbos an obtaining full boost at low RPMs
ex. the S4 obtains full torque/boost at 1850 rpm in the 2.7T model so its not supprising that you would have your ass handed to you in a stock looking car especially if it had the 6 speed

As far as I know, the RS-6 was only sold in the USA as a sedan with the paddle shifted automatic. It did have a 450 hp twin turbo V8 though.
