Stealthed my humvee with a pair of headlights from a junked Opel Omega. from 20 feet you would swear it was a car. cant wait to creep up on some guys with this ;)

Thats funny, i don't think a humvee can ever look like a car but ok.

Iraq, and trust me it does. the locals can spot a humvee's lights a mile away but with this setup we may be able to catch somebody in the act, or at least put em on notice that somebodys thinking over here

thats the other part of the idea, opel omegas are very popular cars over here. the enemy is very clever but quite cowardly, and if i can create enough doubt that actual cars are really a wolfpack of hummers... they will be far more circumspect about their action and attacks will go down a small percentage. this is also why im not worried about putting it out on the internet, they get 90% of their intelligence off of the web and that only spreads my effect.

I was wondering - while I think this is a GREAT idea and very witty - does the government or whoever maintains/approves the vehicles allow it? Could it be something all the trucks use or is it technically not allowed?

yeah, most external modifications wont even be questioned. most guys just try to put more armor on them which is IMO pretty stupid. our truck has so much extra extra armor weight that we have to put it in low range and shut off the ac just to back up (engine dies if you dont) we're looking at trying to swap the wastegate with one that has a vac nipple on it ;)
