View Full Version : Red SRT and blue celica "getting gas"
on Busleton Pike last night by the CVS at county line. Probably one of the dumbest places to run around here, but there they were.
Anyone here?
Oh yea, the celica was shooting flames between shifts.

Good question. He was giving the SRT a run so i'm assuming that he had something going on.

If the srt4 was stock there probably wasn't much done to the celica.

Exhaust, intake, ported headers, and pfc would get the celica into low 14s. I could even show you a video of a celica taking an srt-4. So it just goes to show ho much you know about cars.

low 14's don't = high 13's. Either way if the Celica was decently modded with a good driver and the srt was stock with an average driver, then yeah it might/could be close.
Edit: I'm also still trying to figure out how the hell this means anything about knowing about cars. I speak from personal experience on what my SRT is capable of. You speak of your experience with your Celica. But like I said in the statement above I am giving you the benefit of the doubt that a modded GTS could keep up with a stock SRT with a not so good driver

It was directed towards you. It was directed towards the people who think that their srt4 owns all. And yes srt4 = high 13s with a good driver. There are also some people in the low 13s with the same mods I stated. Here is the video http://media.putfile.com/GTS-vs-SRT4 that one doesnt beat it but it is close here is the same video(i think) on streetfire http://videos.streetfire.net/search/celica/0/f2e1833d-26e7-409d-b9ab-984900e0d953.htm but the pfc is also not tuned on that celica. Here is another one with the celica winning http://videos.streetfire.net/search/srt-4+vs+celica/0/cf431c89-7ee0-49d5-8115-c38b3d92b9f9.htm

well lets see, a celica gt-s costs more than an srt-4 and requires mods and a good driver to keep up with one, so how does the srt-4 not own it?
i mean, i just dont get your reasoning.

I realize that those are bad videos but thats all I could find right away. With minor mods a celica can hang with or beat a stock srt-4 period.

umm,.. a quick google search shows a base price on a gt-s was $22,335 in '05.
are you talking about used? if so you can easily find srt-4's in the 11,000 range and up.
