Just wanted to check here to see if anybody new a place or places where I can get my tranny and differential rebuilt at?

The diff is a stock clutch type LSD and the synchros in the tranny are going. 5th gear is gone and third is following suit. The diff is acting like an open diff now, when I try to do a burn out it only spins one wheel.

Why not take it to JPR?

I already have a quote from him to rebuild the diff. Just wanted to check to see if there was anyplace else.

More than likely I will probably go to him to rebuild the diff.

Diff first, one wheel burnouts are no fun.

The quote from Jim at JPR is very reasonable. Still cheaper than going with a KAAZ unit. Besides the stock S4 T2 diff is already a 2way.

The tranny is still very driveable. It just sucks trying to get into 5th and the very occasional 3rd gear grind.

They mainly do high performance Auto tranys and the best Subaru Auto trany dudes, but do alot of manual stuff also. Cant hurt to give them a call. Ask for Ty and tell him Ron sent you. Good guys and do alot of research and development.
