Yay, finally got my new car retuned. Put on the new catless DP, put in fresh fluids and air filter and took her up to NY. Tuning done by Clark Turner at Pampena Motorsports. Other people in the video- Dave and Gerry from MSPT.
Here's a video- Jake and I just learned how to make videos so it's not edited all that great. SO- just FF through the boring stuff

Final numbers: 287whp/ 309wtq but probably a little higher in the cooler mornings/evenings.

I never got a number off of Clark cause he never came and talked to us. Only Dave did. If you need your car tuned, I'd talk to Dave. I've heard alot of good stuff about him too...
And I didn't PM you back cause I posted this instead. I'll try to get a still shot of the sheet, or just bring it tonight (if Jon is up for goin to Freshworks) or next Tuesday

Gotta fix some stuff before I let people take it out (i.e. brake lines, shifter bushings and most importantly- inspection!)

dang. wtf kind of shop is that?
the whole point of going to the dyno is to get that data home and be able to analyze it.

Ooo i didnt know she was rocking the twin-scroll....they do tend to make more tq the hp when tuned aggressively. That is one sweet setup, must be perfect for everyday driving.

i saw that thing rip on the highway last night.. it was crazy.

girlyspeed

Its not tuned too aggressively. The AFRs are 11.5. In 4th and 5th I'm running 25 psi tapering to 20

But about the dyno stuff- I'm gonna try to get a hold of Dave or Clark and see what other info I can get.

Supposedly the JDM 2.0Ls are a LOT more torquey than US spec 2.0s. Everyone on RS25 that has done a swap mentiones the same thing, that the JDM motors feel to have a lot more grunt in terms of torque. Then again, compare the heads and internals; the heads are basically ported compared to US spec:

Renegade_

i can't find a picture of the v7 STi heads, but I am pretty damn sure that the heads are like the v6s. You can see how the head geometry changes from the 5 -> 6, albeit the performance difference is none. Then again it might be camera angle but the v5s look like they have a little lip before the valves
