STi Genome gauges > you

[CHAOS]

finally got my STi Genome gauges installed yesterday with a lot of help from other members.. mainly jake(inifinite motors), deep (deepccs), fred (wkderf) and troll...without them id still be struggling... but here's a few quick shots of them... the boost gauge is currently TEMPORARILY zip tied to the steering column because im hopefully trading it and getting a new one with no holes from the stock boost gauge which mounts on the other side... for those of you who have no idea of the importance of these... there are probably less than 100 guys in the states using these gauges, they are made by defi and are of the BEST quality.... so on to the pix...

I just heard from some people that they read a few PSI off... something that can happen when someone doesn't install something correctly. I probably shouldn't have even said that, internet hearsay is worthless with those types of things.

I spent over 1,500$ for the gauges in my car. Defiantly the best investment I made. Quality gauges are allways overlooked. I'd never buy anything but Defi' for my cars. The hardware that these gauges come with is top of the line, no plastic vacum lines like cheap autometer gauges. And the pressure sending units are extreamly small and accurate.

I can't believe that people spend that much on gauges and such and don't even get any real datalogging capabilities with it. Oh well, more for show than anything else I guess.

Its funny that evey one makes fun of Autometer when even alot of Japanese tuners use them as well. There is nothing wrong with Autometer gauges. Defi gauges are just as prone to be inaccurate.
