I just moved out here and EVERYONE told me to go to fuzion to order my hood, if I wasn't getting my blower dirrect from NGM I would be ordering that from them too. I looked around online and called a couple shops before I went to fuzion, they qouted me the cheapest price I found anywere. I'll probably have to get my hood installed by them when it comes in ( should be any day now ) I seriously doubt I will be able to fit it in the hatch to get home with, and I don't think I can do it by myself in the street without risking ****ing up my paint job.

I've been dealing with Rich for a while now and all I have to say is that I've never found a shop that is so willing to bend over backwards for someone. I've researched pricing on ALL the parts for my Supra and Rich has beaten ALL of them. My Supra was at another shop and Rich stopped by to give me some advice before I even thought of taking my car to Fuzion. I know I fall into the category of "spending a LOT of money"...because I'm doing just that, but I've sent a few friends there (for things like an exhaust or an intake) and Rich has taken care of them as well. Not only that, but my friend who purchased the intake for his Supra was told that the HKS Racing Suction Intake was a waste of money (roughly $500) and that for a 1/3 of the price to go with the HKS Super Mega Flow...and only charged him like $125 for it when it goes for $165.

That is all for now.

I have delt with Rich and I must say he really does bend over backwards to help you. When my Supra got a bad hg and I didn't know that it was yet. He was there right away after he closed up shop. He drove to MY HOUSE to help me figure out what was wrong. Even though he didn't have enough room to fix my hg in his garage because he had alot of projects going on, 2 weeks later he calls me up and recomends me someone to help with my BHG. He is a great guy and I will deff. work with him again.

Josh, how did that work out? Is he going to do the HG for you? If not LMK I will have some time available in November.

I never called him up, I got a guy to do the HG but than we found out the motor deff. needs a rebuild. Now I have to look for a place that will rebuild my engine. I just want all stock stuff like seals and bearings, right now there is a place that wants to look at it but I have a feeling they are going to try to charge me some $$$$$.

Your best bet may be to just get a jdm engine and swap it out.

Not only will it be cheaper but you will have your old engine for extra parts or you can rebuild it for resale, or you can build it for race.

I have a buddy who just dropped a 7m in a Tacoma pickup, he just went 9's with it, sounds like a fun project:thumbup:

Here's one going cheap:

First of all, in defense of ANY parts shop, not just Fuzion...they have to get their parts from someone else, they don't manufacture them. The gauges may have been back-ordered for all you know. My pistons took a little over a month to get from CP because they ran out of stock and hadn't started making more pistons for the 2JZ engine. Secondly, why would you put retro style gauges in a modern car? If your car carries a retro "theme" then that's great, if not, I think it's retarded. Third, Fuzion is NOT a parts distributor for Stewart Warner, so chances are they don't get any kinds of break on parts, if you found the prices online for the gauges, I don't think there's ANY shop that can compete with the internet. Some of these "internet companies" are compromised of a guy sitting on a computer in his living room in his boxers all day eating Pop Tarts and Cheetos. There are the occassional legitimate companies that actually have a shop that work on cars or warehouse mass quantities of parts, which also gets them a cheaper price than anyone else.

What gauges did you get and how much did it cost your ex-girlfriend exactly?

Oh, and my final point...why would you buy a Focus? it'll take WAY TOO much money for it to be fast. I don't care if Jack Roush & Carroll Shelby collaborated to build the car, it's still a Focus...Oh, I forgot, it comes from a long line of racing heritage...the Ford Escort. LMAO!

Actually, if you knew anything.. both the escort and the focus are used for rallying. I may be dumb, but that is considering racing, right?

Not taking sides of the focus.. it's lame and all.. but that was just ignorant on your behalf :P Ford Escort Cosworth is a badass little car though...

I know that they can be used for rallying, that doesn't mean that they're fast...and yes I know rallying isn't 100% about how fast the car is, it's how well the driver handles the car also. You have to realize that I can rally a Yugo if I really wanted to, but i'd probably go with something that's AWD. Every car has a specific kind of performance standard that they can be built up to and the Focus is used for rallying here and there, but to me it's just more of a "let's pick grandma up to go shopping after church".

I did happen to mention that it'll cost WAY TOO much to make it fast, not saying it isn't possible...but i just don't see the point. Comparing the Cosworth to an actual Escort is like comparing a Ford Fusion to a NASCAR Stock Car. The only thing that the car has in common, is the body lines. It was ignorant on my part, now that you mention it...but I absolutely HATE when people try to bash a company because they feel that someone they know got ripped off. If they knew where to get the product for a lower price, then why didn't they just go there to get it? If it took that long for it to come in, simply go back to the shop and tell them that you found it somewhere else for less and more likely than not, they'll refund your money.

P.S. my opinion still stands for the Focus...Ford's Other Car Using Scraps

lol I just read through this thread again and realized how pathetic this guys story was against Fuzion. What a joke. I support you Rich and your business because most shops are all the same. It's deff fake because the guy had his posts all about Fuzion and close to a year later he hasn't posted again. What a tool.

as for this guy...

Get off your ass and drive to the shop. It's 8 miles away. A face-to-face conversation is almost guarenteed business.

gee thanks. i did speak to them in person. kept telling me that me to call back next week, then next month, then in two weeks, etc... they told me they were too busy with bigger projects. shrug. i understand having a busy shop, but taking down my name and number, and putting me next in line, is not too much to ask.

but anyway, this topic is a year old. no need to bring it back.

Yea. I respect Rich because I believe he tries his best to run his business while having a family of his own to look/take care of. I can imagine how hard it is to run a business with two young kids and the obligations they bring.

Most other shops are run by mostly younger people that don't have this type of burden. So they have the edge when thats all they have to do.

So are you the president of the fuzion/rich fan club? haha

I honestly have not had any experience with fuzion, but have heard mixed things. Obviously alot of people on this forum back the shop, and I wouldn't say anything bad until I personally had a bad experience.

as far as parts, i think rich will get you a good price, and yes he does take awhile to get them in, and he took care of me to get a clutch in once, asap.
and btw
WHO DOESNT LIKE TO SMOKE WEED?
he's not getting the post man high, so it doesnt really effect business

it's a tuner shop in havertown,
What else are they gonna do all day...calculate quantum physics?

As far as installations go, i had a fmic installed on a wrx and he charged me 850....yes, dollars. The install was done very well, but the price was insane, that was the last time i went there, that was 4 years ago

He has been known to not have the best bedside manor, and i know certain people that feel Rich talks to people like a retard. It doesnt sound like much has changed.

I could say much worse things about other shops though, rich is a goofy guy, and if you have a supra i would recommend going there.
