WHEN it snows saturday who wants to meet?

We all know its going to snow saturday because the weatherman said it will. Since they are never wrong we should decide on a place to meet. Time is negotiable depending on snowfall and all that. I was thinking meet at a restaurant somewhere and discuss our plan of attack on the poor helpless lots. I say we save the "good" lot for last, we all know what the good lot is. If everyone is fine with it we could meet up at the great american pub on street road. Most of us have been there before and it is central for everyone. If you have any other suggestion on where to meet or lots to play in just post them up.

This sucks, I got confused and thought i had work tonight and not tomorrow. Turns out i have to work tomorrow from 4-11. They are saying its supposed to start snowing around 3 so hopefully we will close early and then ill meet up with everyone. or maybe ill just call out, drifting is more fun that making money in my mind!! :thumbup:

i just drove home from center city and every road is a mess, thank god i got the snow sports put on they are awesome, I blasted threw everything with no problems even up steep hills where FWD cars were all getting stuck, as far as comming out tonite i dont think its too safe, there are waaay too many people on the road none of which know how to handle there vehs in the snow, and i even had to dodge a few quads and one ski modile :roll: i dont thinks its worth someone wrecking there 30k+ car for some drifting, plus this stuff will be here for a while, and there will be plenty of lots that dont get plowed, Im gonna propose we go Sunday nite after he Eagles game.. anyone up for that??? by then most roads will be plowed and its still the weekend so many industrial lots will still be covered...

I went out for a little today and it was too much snow. if you have snow tires you will be golden but for those of us on all seasons or worse its not so good. I was literally plowing snow, my whole front grill and fog lights are packed with snow. Im hopeing that they plowed the lot once today and that way well have a workable depth of snow to drift in.

we are just gona have to drive around and see. some plowed lots are good if the plower sucks. sometimes they will pack down the snow and make it perfect....we will see.

We def have some good footage. I have a nice vid of pete doign some wing riding then falling off right in front of me. We need atleast 3 more storms of no more than 6 inches for more drifting. If we get that we all hopefully will have built up enough skill to try and pull off some fancy moves to make for some nice videos.

We got so much good video, but everyone has different shots, or or some thing were recorded with only one cam so we need to condense this all to one source. I'd like to put a vid together so I think the best method is to either:

1) Send all the DV tapes to one person
or
2) Everyone with video, cut out the good clips and post the raw video in a site so we can have all of them and make one master video.

Also I just got good with making my own dvds with my own moving menus and stuff so eventually I'd like to put that together too.

It's not really a problem. There certain times, like in the snow, where you want to lock up the wheels. With the wheel lock up and wheel spin, you can lose traction and have fun. With ABS, there's just enough grip to make it boring.

eh, flick the wheel to one direction and punch the gas for a second... you get the same effect of loosing traction :devil:

let me know how that "pulling the plug on the ABS" thing pans out

That is true and it's what I've been doing. I had the DCCD biased to the rear to make the front brake easier.

However, you do stop faster without ABS in the snow. The fuse is in the engine bay but I haven't had a chance to look for it.

50/50 is very stable. I've only done little drifts. The lots I use are small abandoned parking lots with weeds growing out of the cracks.

My fuse is behind the coin tray in the dash. I pulled it last night b/c I heard it was going to snow... I had the same problems last week, but my blizzaks just came in so I hope these problems will just go away...
