You guys do motor swaps? I need a new moptor in my dsm. I threw a rod on a motor with 6k miles...its a bummer but I gotta be back in business come april, I need toi know answers to a few questions on my mind.


1.) How many DSM's have you done motor swaps on?
2.) Price for a 7 bolt to 7 bolt swap
3.) Price on a 7 Bolt to 6 Bolt swap



Car is a Talon TSi FWD with eclipse front facsia.

I think I( can reuse the head of the motor since it threw a rod and make some $ for the swap that way. Please advise on the answers to my question. Look forward to hearing from you.

We have done a handle full of straight 7bolt - 7bolt and straight 6bolt-6bolt swaps.
We dont dive into 7/6 hybrids.
if you supply us with a complete motor ie: heads and all.
the swap would run you $650.
If we have to swap over heads an so forth, the average cost is $1000.
its an involved swap if you do the head swap as well.
