My brother is trading in his WRX for an SUV. Maybe hes getting pressure to have some rugrats, maybe its so teh wifey can drive it too(she cant drive stick), maybe hes sick of the car. whatever...

2002 Midnight Black Pearl WRX Sedan 5MT
VIN #: JF1GD29682G526222
~27,500 miles
Factory STi short shifter
Premium sound
Rear deck spoiler
Subaru upgraded security
Bone STOCK. The car has never been abused. I have witnessed his grandpa type driving first hand. There are a few nicks and scratches, but nothing too out of the ordinary for a subie. He's got Silverstar headlight bulbs and is running mobil 1 synthetic motor oil. Hes planning on trading it in very soon, so if you are interested, act fast. He would like 17k for it but will entertain offers. email me if you are interested(showers151 @ hotmail.com.

Title is clean and the car comes with the remainder of the factory warranty

Damn, if this were a wagon, my girl would be all over it. I'll let her know anyway. Good luck selling it(for your bro).

Sorry, about the time frame. My brother told me about trading it in the other day. I told him to at least let me post it up for him, I'd much rather see it go to a local person that will actually appreciate it, rather than have go onto a dealers chopping block.

since there has been interest and the dealer is having trouble finding the particular grand cherokee that he wants, it might be here for another week or so.

Cool - thanks for the info - went on lendingtree.com today and requested some offers- we'll see what turns up... now there's just the small matter of turning in my truck which is in a 5 year lease- i'm pretty near the mid point where the amount i owe is pretty close to the amount i've paid in, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue... just something i don't have a lot of experience with as of yet...
any chance you have more pix you could post or email me of the car?
thanks,
ashley

Good news and bad news. I got approved for a loan. That's the good news.
However, upon looking into my options with my current lease, I find that I will have to sell the vehicle myself to get out of the lease. Do you know anyone looking for an '02 Toyota Tundra, V6, 2WD, with a coupla dings (understatement). Either that, or I can trade it in at a dealer, but then I would of course have to be getting a car from a dealer.
Outside of that, I would have to commit to this car, plus run the risk of selling my truck. Which I can't afford to do because one of the two people in my house doesn't have a job, and now is not the best time for financial risk. SOOOOOOOOO... all in all I'd say, thanks, but don't wait for me, and if I can figure something else out in the meantime, I will definitely let you know.
Thanks
Ash

Hes still having a helluva time finding the jeep they want. the only one that is anywhere close to what they want is in Woodbridge, VA. hes also having trouble because nobody wants to do a dealer trade with them because hes getting the truck at employee purchase price. he may be selling the rex for a while yet.

and heres another pic, albeit not a great one. Ben's car on the right, mine on the left(pre STi wing, and bronze wheels)
