we headed out a little early tonight because we went out to oaks to go to arnolds,
actually I have seen that car. It came to the FreshWorks meet. LS1 is much better if you are spending the cash on an s54
and LS1 is to heavy and the transmission is ****, the s54 puts out more power and is a better swap, ls1 is sick but not in an m3, maybe in a 318 or a E30 which has been done, But i dont want any sort of american built crap in my car, his bone stock s54 ran 12.8 @ 115 mine will be cammed, and a lot more headwork should pull 12.0s easy and maybe some 11s with radials.

hahahah thanks :finga: dunno who u are but dont care...

bwahahahaha! how much does that e46 weigh with an ls1 in it? and i never knew a 6 speed tremec was JUNK..:rotfl: . you are the FIRST person i've heard say that.
i don't know the wieght of a ls1 swap in that car, but i DO know the ls1 weighs only 30 lbs more than a fd rx7 rotary engine, and when you put the ls1 in a fd it gets nearly PERFECT 50/50 weight distribution.
whatever though, i own an american car and HATE euro snobs. i hope you waste alot of $ on that e46 swap and some guy with a STOCK ls1 swap (((( 3500$ at most ))))) in a e36 with boltons SMOKES you in a straight line AND around the twisties:banana: with all your head and cams and that jazz.
american junk huh? :finga: how about overpriced underpowered torqueless euro yuppie junk! haha

The 50/50 weight distribution actually kind of ruins the FD. A little rear bias is better for corner exits and the entries as well, this was the downfall of the S2k, the 50/50 weight distribution.
European cars aren't all about power. The build qualty and everything about them is just a little bit better. They may be a little overpriced at first but they do hold there value the best, and I must say way better than your average american car (I say average because I know the Vipers hold their value pretty dam.n well.).

didn't know that about the fd...
i agree american cars build quality is usually sub-par from a bmw but not ALL european cars. amer. cars also don't hold value for **** either, everybody knows that. kind of makes you wonder if german cars hold their value in germany though..

considering a 1980 (e30 m3) on average costs more then a 1995+ (E36 m3) they apriciate no matter what country

Doylestown to West Chester is about an hour to an hour and 15 minute ride. I mapquested it and it turns out to be around 45 miles or so roughly.

I dont where you got that info. my Dad has garage and i work on BMW's and Benz's all the time. drive tran and wiring wise they are no better than any american car. they built tighter cars ill give you that. no interior noise like rattles and $hit. My Dads buddy who works up at the BMW dealer will tell you that. its the same BS different car.

I got my info from real life experience. Your gonna tell me the corvette doesn't rattle? Your dads buddy works at a BMW dealership so of course he's going to see numerous amounts of problems because he works at the dealership, that's pretty obvious. A couple of my friends have american cars and they did not hold up to the test of time/mileage. Example #1: My friend bought a cavalier, yes that may be a cheap american car but an american car non the less. He had injector failure at 5k miles. Suspension went at 6k miles. Example #2: Friend with a c5 corvette z06 had rattles and vibrations at 80mph. The dealer tried twice to fix it but could not, then finally they said they are not obligated to fix it due to he should not be cruising that fast anyway. None of my bmw owning friends have had any problems that could not be fixed/so soon in the vehicles life. So, once again life experience, since I do not work at a dealership I just listen to my friends and there troubles.
Same BS? 3.2 litre with 333hp german car, american car??
I'm not trying to put down american cars I'm just saying it's not the same otherwise the cost would not be so different. You can't even say it's because it was built in america either because the Viper, Corvette, and Ford GT are still pretty dam.n expensive.
funny, my shop sees both american and imported cars. they all have their problems. as for holding up, my buddies 03 vette has 1000hp and you can cruise at 80 and not hear a thing. a Z06 is a road race car. its stiff as hell. cavaliers are POS, no doubt there.

nah there not like that at all. The one with the silver bought it for a daily driver he has a vette at home. His roomate owns a BMW 325i and we want him to sell it and buy an M3 maybe you guys can help him out with that decision.
My roomate is pretty cool about it he in fact calls it a neon sometimes hah. He is a big dodge fan and bought the srt4 for a project car. He wanted to buy a fairly newer car and save money for mods so it was a pretty decent decision on that factor. It was thinking about the G35 or 350z but didn't want to put that much money out for the car initially.
I acually just went to an Rx8 meet on sunday at evolution performance in aston, pa. It was my first meet, it was a lot of fun. It was put on by rx8club.
