Last weekend I took my 02 WRX to 1320 to install a new clutch and flywheel. Prior to me making the appointment they helped me choose the clutch and flywheel that would best fit what I was looking for. Which, since they don't sell parts, was very impartial.
I dropped off the car at 6:30 Saturday night and on my way to work I stopped in to check how they were doing. I got my first shock when I saw they had put blue painters tape over my fenders, in addition to the usual throw over covers, to make sure my fenders weren't scratched. Even the hammer sitting on top of the motor had a cloth under it to keep it from scratching anything. They stopped and took the time to show me what had been done and go over with me anything they had found along the way that might be an issue and showed me my old parts to see how bad the really were lol.
When I showed up the next day at 4 my car was back together, they had washed and waxed it, and even buffed out a couple scratches that were down the side. This was nothing compared to what I noticed later which was that they had sprayed armor all on my dash, center console and door cards.
So here's the rundown, they washed, waxed and buffed the car. Cleaned the interior, cleaned the engine. Installed a downpipe, changed the fluid in my rear diff., installed the clutch and flywheel, removed a bolt that was jammed into my turbocharger by the previous owner, cleaned out my turbocharger. Modified the shift plate to take a short throw shifter, and checked the whole car top to bottom for any other issues at my request.:prayer:
Grand total: $427 for labor (I provided the parts), fluids and an exhaust gasket for the downpipe. A bargain price from a place that treated my car better then if I was doing the work myself. My car will go to no other shop in the future, I won't even be getting my Utec until they have their dyno to tune it on.
