I dunno....I'm getting pretty nervous about this movie. I think I would enjoy this a lot more if they just focused on making a great animated movie.

If the CGI is trash the movie is trash. All we need now is a Live action speed racer movie staring Vin Diesel as Speed.....if that ever happens i swear to god im going to just stop watching movies.

The movie has been in production for some time now. It looks like they put a lot of money and effort into the models, and the cars. On top of that the advances in CGI and other computer related design is astronomical anymore.

I doubt this movie will bomb

The trailer isnt a trailer, its only a teaser - so I can see where he is coming from.

However, I say that this movie has the potential to bomb, just like many other classic cartoons/shows that were made into movies. I said LOTR had the potential to bomb. I also said that King Kong WOULD bomb, but it didnt. Both had a director who actually CARED about the movie knowing that the money would follow. Lets hope this one follows in the footsteps of those two movies cus I'd have to smack a biatch or two if this movie sucks.

I'm hoping they have Shockwave and Blaster. They were the bomb.

it's cool. I honestly hope it doesn't bomb either, but that's just my gut feeling. I can't wait to see Jackass 2 on Friday...now THAT will be funny. I watched the making of the movie last night, they said that this movie makes the first one look like amateur hour...hahha
