Does anyone know a good place i can go to get my rims painted black? (stupid ?) what is the difference between powdercoating and painting? Any price estimates?

Powder coating is a baked on high temp kinda paint......Where painting is well just painting. After a while the paint is gonna where off, as where the powder coating will stay on unless scratched or chipped off.

Black looks alright if it complements the car - I don't think it would look all that good on your car because the car already has that "shine" to it which the 5 spokes complement...which is pretty much because your car has relatively new paint

The guy who's car is in the picture is asking for $2,500 for his used. I'm assuming they are staggered 19s by the picture. I bet they are just under $3,000 new for 19s, but I'm not sure.

Powedercoating is usually around $50/wheel. More if you want dual colors, etc.

So... did you end up getting them coated? I say if your getting black rims, you should at least get 25% tint all the way around so it has something to match other than the tires....
