I have been looking around for a torque wrench for a little bit now. With some of the projects that will be coming up, it will be a necessity in my box. I don't plan to use it often so spending $300 on the best snap-on isn't really what I am looking for. I have been debateing one from harbor freight but it looked really cheap.

Last week, since we have been so busy at work and everyone stepped it up and worked our asses off, my job gave everyone a $50 gift card to Amazon.com. Although I am very grateful, wtf am I going to get from amazon? A f'n torque wrench, you are right! Sooooooo for all of those tool junkies out there...

What do you think of this one?

and if not, pick one out for me

Thanks for all of your help,

I don't see any problem with that one. Considering it you don't plan to use it often that should do the job well.

A tork wrench is a torque wrench, it depends on how much torque you need, like 100ftlbs or just 30ftlbs, u not gonna get that much quality out of a torque wrenche from Amazon anyway

I compared my the accuracy of my 45 dollar torque wrench to my dads 200 dollar one, and it was within 1/2 a pound. Save your money. I got mine from JCWhitney.

I would also get a swivel head torque wrench too. They don't swivel all that much, but 5-10deg could mean the difference between torqing a nut and "doing it by hand". A general rule: anything under $100 is not worth your money.

A tool is useless if you can't get it into the area you need it.

a Torque wrench is not a torque wrench. Some are digital and viberate to tell ya when to stop lol.

I've heard good things about the husky torque wrenches at home depot. I think thats where I got mine.
