I work for my dad. We have a construction company here and in hong kong we have a lot of condos and apartments that we rent out.
For everyone who has a decent job and can save money you guys should save because the price for realestate is falling right now. My dad and I aren't going to buy anything again for the next 3-4 years and thats when you guys should buy too if your looking at realestate.

I'd hardly consider that "work", but, nice $100,000.00+ worth of cars your parents can buy..

do you actually work, as in hard? or do you just meander about.
If you are seriously working your ass off instead of getting hand-outs, then good for you. You're a lucky SOB w/ a great job and future. If you're just taking money from your parents and being a lazy SOB...then I'm not in the least bit happy for you.
But if you're working hard, congrats.

If you really want to know collecting rent and signing papers on the Hong Kong side isn't really hard, it's just tiring flying 32 hour round trips back and forth. For construction I join the team when they do roofing most of the time, I'm the guy that picks up all the shingles on the bottom and throws it into the garbage container/talks to the owners if they have questions. I just get paid a little more but not too much more. Up to 15 squares is decent, anything over that gets a little hard.

so, you basically have it pretty easy, lol.
Well, at least you're not just sitting on your ass and getting everything handed to you. So I giveyou some kudos for helping out. Any future plans for yourself?
Need help collecting rent? lol

im not trying to be overly critical, but no matter how hard he works, theres NO CHANCE he'd be making that much as a 21 yr old anywhere else.
at least he's doing something for it though..

my buddy is 21-22 and is signing off on a deal in december for a death insurance plan (I think that's what it is) that will net him 50k, so he says  30k from commission, and 20k as a bonus.
At 21, if the doors are open to you, you can make that kind of money.
Real Estate, insurance plans, etc.
There are ways.
I hoped, at the very least, he was working his ass off for his father and doing a ton of stuff..whether it be on the business side, or what.
Some of us get lucky, like this kid, some of us don't get so lucky. No sense being jealous b/c his parents worked their asses off and got lucky here and there.

Well, congrats I guess. However, based on your response it doesn't sound like you're all that thrilled about it.
X5 really wouldn't be my first SUV choice, but they are nice.
