I am looking for a gas station in philly that sells unleaded octane higher than or equal to 100. I live in the manayunk area so anything close would be GREAT. I know of a gas station that sells 110 leaded in chestnut hill but i'm looking for something cheaper/less octane that i can run pretty much daily.
Thanks,
T

why so high?
i'm assuming he wants to make alot of power.
i wish i had 100+ octane at the pump unleaded so it doesn't kill my wideband o2 sensor

Yeah, i'm just looking for something better than 93 so i can run some decent boost daily. It's either some kind of injection or better gas and i'd rather just run better gas when i want to. 100 unleaded would be perfect. Yeah i can run c16 or 110 but that's more $ and it requires a completely different tune.
I know there has to be a gas station that sells this stuff in Philly :)

One other question. Are the places mentioned about that DO sell it, big chain gas stations, or smaller stations, like a mechanic shop with a few pumps on site?
Can most cars handle 100 ok in stock for or do they require anything?

it depends, what kind of car are you considering using that type of fuel

shouldn't you be tuned for the octane your running? Why not go with a 93 map and a c16 map. F 100 octane, that's beat. lol

I'm pretty sure the Sunoco on Bristol Rd. in Bensalem has it. Its down the street from Neshaminy mall. I dont know if that is too far for you though.

torco took my stock long block with 93octane to close to 700rwhp.
Mix 1 can of that with 10-15 gallons of 93 octane and you have close to or more than 100 octane. I was the first one to dog the stuff, but, IT WORKS.

I live in manayunk so neshaminy is kind of far but not TOO far.
I have heard about this torco stuff. Where can i get it and how much does it cost?

Can anyone investigate this for me? I will be headed to freshworks thursday night so i could stop there and pick up some gas. I would really appreciate if somebody that lives nearby can stop there, make sure they do sell the 100 octane and tell me the price too :)
does bristol rd sunoco sell it? if they do its not in the pumps

No you have to go inside and ask for race fuel. They do have it and I have bought it before. When I went there they had the Cam2 110 leaded.

Its not at the regular pumps. It is on the side of the building that faces the cemetery.

my uncle will be buying 2 drums of C16 at some point for the 800hp engine for his chevelle...this doesn't help you at all...unless you want to buy a drum of race fuel, then I can find out where he'll be buying from

I know where to get race fuel. I am looking for higher than 93 octane pump gas such as 100.

have you looked into water injection at all? it will pretty much give you as much knock protection as very high octain gas would and it would cost a lot less in the long run.

I prefer to run gas alone for now.

You may want to call up VP Racing Fuels, the only thing with that is that you have to pick it up in Delaware. I recently called them for VP Import (120+ Octane) for when I run high boost...let's just say I won't be running high boost very often...it was roughly $1200/54 gallon drum. It may be worth it to have a drum of their stuff laying around the garage. If I were you, I'd run a leaded fuel because it's hard to find anything that high in octane that's unleaded. If you want to call them up, their number is 302-368-1500.
