So i'm noticing all the meets, events, gtg's, and shows, ect. are all in NJ and PA or somewhere else. There seems to be alot of us NY people on here, can we organize something?

I actually don't think there are many NY people on here. The majority is down in Southern NJ and PA, I'm in NNJ and I think there are 2 other members here with me.

yeah. I'm from NNJ too. I've been on this site for several weeks and haven't been to a meet yet cause all of them are down south. Someone should set up a meet either in NYC or NNJ.

I thought tri-state was considered, PA, DE and NJ--- didnt know NY was in there at all.

im pretty sure its not, considering that Troll is from Pennsylvania, I would assume he wouldnt start a forum that didn't include his state. I don't know what the other two states are, but Pennsy is definitely in there.

tri-state will always depends on where you are from.

but we are trying to organize a meet at FDR park for possibly oct. 30th. it's being set up as a srt-halloween meet, but we always welcome anyone who wants to come!

Pennsylvania is part of a tristate area, but not the most well known tri state area, which consists of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, as mentioned before. There are many "tri state" areas throughout the nation as described below. Really its all semantics anyway. Any place where three states share borders could be argued as a tristate region.

well i have held about 9 meets this year for the ROTARY COMMUNITY. You can see pictures and videos on my website www.nyrotary.com.

We have yet to invite other cars to our meets, i wanted to be selfish and get teh rotary community out of the woods first lol

Yes def.... anyone in the Peekskill, Somers, Yorktown, Mahopac, Carmel area of NY we have a meet every thursday night in the Nails n Spa parking lot in Somers Commons its on the mahopac/somers border....all are welcome! police usually not a problem and there is a nearby race spot...i will make this its own thread soon

Actually, we've had quite a few Subaru meets including a free dyno day when we got to have 3 pulls on a dyno for free. The last one was about a week ago in Cortlandt. Had one a week or two before that in the same area. I know they have meets in Danbury and up on RT 9 too but I haven't gone to any recently.

Take it easy with the "race spot" talk, it's been known for Police to check out car forums to see what's going on. Don't be stupid, street racing is for high school tough guys in Hondas. I guess the recent deaths of a few kids from our area haven't affected you... guess you'll learn the hard way some day. Lets hope not.
