Okay so i threw on a new set of rims and tires on my sweetheart (a crappy civic). Rims and tires are right size so thats not it, they all went on perfectly fine with no problems, tuner lug nuts no problem everything is great. Driving up to west chester this morning however i would be noticing problems. 1. Steering wheel is vibrating, and when i push it up to 80 i mean really vibrating. 2. The car is jus seeming to feel bumpy. Checked all the wheels all seem fine. Do i have to like wear the tires in or something? im completely lost. someone help please. Thanks

Sounds like they arent balanced.

I locked my tires up b/c a deer jumped out on my the other week and another followed that one close behind. I skid for probably 60 feet before I let off the brakes some and now it happens to me around 75-85, my glove compartment vibrates and some change vibrates in my cup holder.

Also, when I got my rims/tires put on, the next day I washed my car and took it for a drive. I got on 83 and my steering was all weird and felt like I was floating and about to loose control. I took the car back to where I got the rims and it turns out that the weights fell off of the front right. They fixed them and I went 130 the next night :driving: and there were no problems

Definetley not balanced if the wheel shakes, if you shake in your seats Id recommend gettin all 4 wheels balanced I think NTB charges $12 a wheel

check alignment too, you NEVER know. balancing the wheels and having bad alignment might make you have to get them checked again. that's what i would do at least

do you have hub centrics(sp?).... they can cause a shake too cause the wheel isnt exactly centered
