How to get haze out of a cf hood?

Just curious. Some dude is looking to sell my a hood for my Tiburon but part of it is painted white and the othre part is hazed over.

Can I buff out that Haze and the white paint at the same time?

just compound the haze than get a clear cost polish

just use a high strenght cleaner/degreaser/tar remover found at a Auto Body store (not auto Zone or pep boys, the real stuff). Then wipe down the hood. Then you will most likely have to wetsand the paint off of the hood. Start with 320 to remove it and work your way up. Then use some scratch remover compound and buff it out and wax it and it "should" be as good as new.

You're likely going to want to reclear the hood after you wetsand off all the paint. Then you can wetsand the new clear and buff it real nice.
