Cheap Car Rentals?

I need to rent a car for a month, Enterprise wants to charge 885/month for a POS Aveo/Neon...are there any local car rental places that charge less?

Never rented before, and they're charging an add'tl $300 because I'm 24 and not 25...sheesh

Anyone else been in this situation?

Hmm, have you tried Budget? They have(or had when I used them) a pretty nice selection of cars. Anyway someone could rent it for you and add you as a driver...could be cheaper that way.

yea, seriously...it's a shame these kinda things are so expensive, I don't know what I'm gonna do...good idea about having someone else rent it and add me. I'll look into that!

I would try Budget. They don't charge for being under 25. There is one in Levittown, I think...

edit: I did a quick search for 30 days. A Focus type car is $679. Something like a Sebring is $781. A Ford Fusion is $887.

...and if you do use Budget, look for coupons online...they always have something floating around.
