What is your average cruisin speed, when your by yourself on the highway?

Usually around 55-60, dont wanna be going to far over cuz when I'm on the highway, its usually 30 bypass which is LOADED with 5.0's

I'm usually driving my Sprinter van. I drive at whatever speed is required to keep the 'packs' of cars a good distance in front of me and behind me. It is usually right around 75.

I find the two fastest cars on the road and get in the middle. chances of the middle guy getting pulled are pretty slim.

60-75 depends on the prevailing speed limit and traffic conditions. Of course there's those moments of insanity, like today. Came around the area of south bound 29 where it becomes two lanes heading into Trenton. No one for a half a mile, 50 mph in 4th and I just buried the throttle. Got to 110 before I had to slow things down again and then cruised at 55 the rest of the way with a huge smile on my face.

the other way to travel fast is get behind a trucker and stay with him. ust about any trucker will know where every cop is within their CB radio's radius. I used to have a CB in my truck and you learn real quick what the lingo is as to where the cops are posted. They call them out as soon as they see them so if your trucker friend lays on his brakes, you do the same. I cut an hour off my trip to VA Beach last year due to this :thumbup:

Hrm...

Last night I did exit 112 to exit 56 on the NE extension in 41 minutes or so. Came out to averaging 82 mph. My all time high on that run is 91+ mph avg.

I would say I average cruising around 80ish, possibly a little higher to and from work on 78.

My night driving is all on I-95. I usually do about 75-80.

Usually set the cruise to 60 on the way in to work. On the way home its anywhere around 60 - 90 depending on my mood.

Yea, with the different highway speeds (55-65) i still find myself cruisin at the same speed, and yea to the 2.5 rs guy, i hate the speed limit, i feel like a dork if im doing it. I go over and feel cool, or i go under roll my windows down and feel even cooler. j/p
