We had rain last night, tons of it and what do i do i leave my passenger side windown down. What can i do to get rid of it i've been driving around with my windows down and the defrost/heat blasting. Is there anything else i can do?

run your car with the A/C on all the time while you drive it. The condensor extracts the moisture in the cabin. Hence the puddle under your car when your A/C is running. Heat wont do anything but help mold produce

You might wanna pull your seats and let them dry. All the foam and such in your seats could grow mold/mildew.....

This happened to me about two months ago. I stripped the interior: front seats, back seat, center console and other trim and then removed the carpetting. With basic handtools and a Hayne's manual, for the first time doing it I removed everything in about 3 hours. I then hung my carpet out to dry. While I was at it, I removed all the sound deadening as that is the part that stays wet forever. All told, I shed about 25 pounds in dead weight. Re-installation took about an hour since I knew what I was doing. Turnaround time was two days for the install, carpet dry, and re-install. Much faster than running your ac for days and days.

Happens to the Mini every time it rains. Get a good wet/dry utility vacuum.
