frankenstein, honest question... you and 97Tsi and TrboChicsRock all have B16Gs... they are running high 13s... what else is going on with your car to make it 2 seconds faster in the 1/4?

Honest every car is different. I've been building and racing cars for nearly 15 years. One thing is alot of people think that the red line is where to shift. But not the case you need to know where your hp curve starts to die off. Tire pressure is a big thing. Also tuning is a huge factor! My car is full weight still, baby seat included.

There's the fact that he's awd and we're fwd :(

Just FYI, looking at my airflow #s it appears power starts dropping off around 6800 so that's where I aim to shift. I was running 18lbs tire pressure too. I think I can get a low 13 out of her, but we'll see. I'm trying to go again next Thursday. Maybe Tuesday if I'm really anxious.

I split the turbo discussion off of the registry to keep it on topic.
Please continue to post up Mitsu turbo info here. If anyone has a breakdown of sizes and numbers, that would be cool.

I don't think Jess has any significant weight removal done. Frankenstein, how much does your car weigh?

I had about 4 gallons of super in then added $15 bucks of c16 @ 8.xx a gallon so just about 2 gallons. and yes the car is full interior with a baby seat and his toys. The only thing I removed was the spare tire and jack.
