I can't wait for fall weather. I'll be closing up pools$$$$$$. Nothing like working outside on a nice cool crisp fall day with a cup of hot coffee in the morning and a bucket o' hot Wawa stew for lunch mmmmmmm

Not to mention, the mighty Mini will be running like a champ when it cools off.

Bring on the Fall weather!

I refuse to let go of the summertime. Think about it, it doesn't really get cold until October.

The pool is still open!!!

university of delaware starts the 29th, i think... i shoudl check up on that...haha

and I have chem + lab, bio + lab.... in which each alone would kill me, so itll be interesting to see how I die while taking both of them together. Then I have nutrition&dietics, health sciences, another psyc, and communications.....

17 credits, 3 jobs, and a hell of a money pit for a car.... yyyyay.

then winter session i get to take math, which i suck*ss at, then spring i get to take another chem+lab and bio+ lab together. So not only do I not have fall to look forward to, I have a whole year not to look forward too. lol...

b*tching about it made me feel a little better though :)

School starts in two weeks for me. Working a full time job + college = no life for me.

hrm school. I'm seriously tempted to trade in the SRT-4 for something used and under 10k to drop car payments and insurance so I can afford to work less to take more classes and get my degree finally. And maybe figure out exactly what it is I want to do.

A degree doesnt help you figure out what you want to do :) Trust me on that. Many days I sit looking at my computer at work and think "Man I wish I were working on cars right now." Or be in the FBI. Cus that would be cool.

while true. I can at least have the ability to take a wider variety of classes and explore the different subjects a bit more than I can now. I can take 2 night classes. And if I want a C.S. degree, I need to take classes for that. But if I could take a couple night classes and a day class, or two, I could either A) get my C.S. degree in 2 more semesters, or take some other classes in subjects that interest me. Like Physics.

I've got a few options open to me. Two of which would require me selling the SRT to lower my monthly bills so that I can afford to work less hours to support myself. The other is to push to get a better paying job that also pays for school. The fortune 500 company I work for...doesn't offer tuition reimbursment.

If I sell the SRT-4 and get a beater, that runs. I can reduce my hours at my current job to go to school. Or, go back to work for my mom for less hours for the same pay, but no benefits unless I can get to school as a f/t student and put on my step-dads insurance.

Truer words never spoken.... my degreee only helped me figure out what i DONT want to do.

I feel like i havent had a summer, working 9-5 sucks ass. My friends have been to the beach and gone on random adventures and im like yeah... I have work.

I am thinking about going back to grad school just so i dont have wo work 9-5 for a few more years ha ha.

I do love winter though... snowboard rack goes on, weekend trips for snowboarding!!! Car feels so much faster and wearing hoodies!

I'm still not sure what to do. So I've been putting school off. Going off and on for Computer Science. But that isn't what I really want to do. Its what I've picked up easily in the past. I'm sure a little schooling, and experience on the job will go a long way for the time.

If I could go back to school full time, I'd switch my Major back over to Physics. In order to do that, I'd have to sell my car and get something for like 2-3k, or get the Omni running 100% which would probably cost about as much to have a mechanic go over the car from top to bottom and fixing any issues. At that point I'd swallow my pride and go get student loans and grants and what not.

The idea doesn't sound so bad to me actually...

Yeah dude... not to philosophize on TST but do what interests you. I know it is uber cliche (only time iver ever used the term uber) but doing something you love over somethign that is "easy" will make you much happier over the long run. It may be tougher to start but when your not sitting at a desk bored out of your mind doing mind numbing crap youll be thanking yourself. Now if only i would take my own advice and drop the 55k it costs to get my commercial pilots license ha ha.

student loans aren't bad at all considering there is barely any interest on them at all (if any) - I don't think I will be able to pay my entire way through school so I will have to take out a few. It's not that bad because you don't need to pay them back until you are out of school.

A problem I have with choosing a major is that there is a LOT of **** I love to do - Graphical Design, Computer Hardware, Cars, etc etc etc

I am trying to not make a hobby a career which could ruin my interest in things. I'm having that problem but right now I am going in for computer engineering.

I went down the same path. Computers and etc have been easy for me, and because I was good at it, I thought thats what I should do. Trouble is, I'm really not happy doing it. I still dont know what I would love to do. For now, this pays the bills until I find out what my passion is in life. Dollars to doughnuts its something to do with cars/automobiles though. I dont think I could just be a mechanic, my aspirations are too high (read:expensive tastes and hobbies). Wouldnt mind owning my own performance retail shop and garage though.

One thing I might do is learn computer engineering and then try to apply to a company which makes stand-alones and help develop those. You do computers, learn every little intricate thing about tuning cars and you can tune whatever standalone that you make like nobodies business.

yeah, I'm between continuing this CS degree, or getting back into electrical work. Either way, the SRT is f/s (18k) as that will clear up a ton of funds for me to figure my **** out. Worse case, I get the Omni running 10's as a daily driven street car...lol

10 sec omni ftw

4-6k to make too. Gotta make a hybrid engine. Take I think the 2.5l T2 block and convert it to a DOHC from a 2.0l neon...flow air like a sumbitch. Stick on a 60trim, get some bullet proof internals...get 30+psi, some slicks...tuned...maybe some nitrous incase I run across something nasty..or to make up for lack of track once I'm going... lol
