STOLEN CAR: 97 Bright Green Civic!!! from NE Philly

My fiance's car was stolen overnight on Friday from right outside of our house in the Mayfair section of NE Philly. If anyone sees a bright Green (House of Kolor Planet Green) Civic rolling around or parked somewhere, please call the police for me! It had white motegi wheels and a sticker of a flower in the rear window. Please keep your eyes peeled, I'll post some pictures of it tonight!

The car stands out. The color is much brighter than the stock green so unless it's in a million pieces right now, it should be relatively simple to spot!

At first I thought I knew the ride, but where I always see a green one isn't in Mayfair. I'll definately keep an eye out as well roll past two of the "known" places where "borrowed" cars are taken. Also, if you can get that pic up too.

It's insured. To be honest, we'll probably get more in insurance than I'd think it's worth. But all of this is just a pain in the ass to go through.

Oh ok, I'm glad you at least have theft insurance. That would be cool if you get more than its worth!

Just the stock Honda 1.6 Vtec. Automatic.
Painted that color because it was in a small accident and the hood needed to be painted anyway. So for another $150 i bought the paint to do the whole car.

and considering the car has the 1.6 vtec, its probably one of the more sought after and easiest to remove Honda engines.

they didnt take a lot of stuff that could be sold... The headlights were new from an accident she got in a year ago. Hell, the entire engine could be yanked easily enough and there are tons of Honduh boys out there looking for a "cheap" vtec.

yep, they totaled it. The most expensive parts to replace were the seats. It would have been almost 2500 in seats alone. So they'll pay off her loan and she'll have the rest of the money in a check.

They found the guy who stole my girls car. We have his name and he is wanted for a number of other stolen cars. I don't want to tip anyone off in the thread so PM me if you'd like his name.

The Camden Police will be issuing a warrent for his arrest in conjunction with a number of stolen cars from Philly. One of them may be yours!
