Saw a mention of this site on another forum I belong to (Club3G (http://www.club3g.com)).

Since this one is local, I figured it might be a good idea to join up.

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Spyder, silver with a black top and gunmetal Motegi rims. Currently the mod list is getting long, it's probably enough to say that it has a stage 2 SDS from RIPP (http://www.rippmods.com/). You can check out some pics at my cardomain page here (www.cardomain.com/id/slavetothemuzic).

So anyway...hi all! http://www.aaroncarr.com/images/smileys/wavey.gif

No offense, but could you give me an example of what potential? I Have yet to see a 3G that was quick without a TON of money thrown at it.

I Have yet to see a 3G that was quick without a TON of money thrown at it.What do you consider "a ton"?

Over 400 whp and 11 seconds has been achieved on some cars.

Well yeah, there are also 1g neons in the 9s in street trim. With enough money, anything can happen.

I mean, how quick are they with basic boltons? Do you have to throw $5k at them to hit 13s?

I have a spyder, so I haven't been to the track with it since there's no cage.

I'm sure with $5K, you're into 12s.

I also know that Ripp is making some design changes in the stage 3 kit. That might make 400 whp with $5K, or right around there. I don't know the pricing off the top of my head on the current stage 3, and I certainly don't know what price changes may occur after the design upgrade.
