I'm looking into buying this 1995 honda civic ex from a guy in Bensalem. It's got the following mods.
Greddy turbo kit with intercooler
NX intercooler spray kit
166000 miles on body, 3,500 miles on an engine rebuild
full MSD ignition
Comp Cam camshaft
high performance radiator
stage 1 racing clutch
stainless steel Tsudo catback exhaust
Greddy profec E-01 electronic boost controller and engine management
a full blitz body kit
Dropzone coilover kit w/ struts
17 inch Konig Holes w/ Falken tires
Carbon Fiber hood
CF trunk with spoiler
Duel angel eye projector headlights
LED taillights
After being told all that can anyone tell me if 8,000 is a resonable price for that vehicle? also if it isn't asking too much, is there anyone who might be free on saturday latter in the day who could check it out with me cuase I don't know much about cars, and don't know what to look for, besides check engine light, and gas tank leaks. If you think you might be able to just pm me and I'll give you more exact times and we can cordinate it. Also if anyone just wants to add things I should look for as a post, that'd be helpful too. Thanks

i wouldnt recommend the car if it doesnt seem professionally done. the guys probably selling the car cause he F'd something up. turbo and NOS is a tricky thing and id ask for reciepts for everything not to mention proof of the engine rebuild. it sounds like your buying a money pit, most new cars with those mods dont even run smoothly let alone an older one not even made for any of that.

not to deter you from your purchase, i just dont think its worth putting yourself through that hell if the car turns out to be a junker.

plus 8k sounds kinda high.

Just a hunch, but anyone who would install dual angel eye projectors and LED taillights, probably doesn't think much of taking care of an engine. Not to mention the lack of engine management.
