Awesome! If I serve my full sespension i dont get mind back till december. Theres no court dates for at least another month or 2 :cry:

damn john, had no idea that was so involved! I was told that if someone comes outta a bar under the influence and gets in their car and starts teh car (key in ignition), its an automatic dui...I guess your situation wasn't far off... I wish you the best!! dibs on a ride when you're legal!

After the discussions with my lawyer and talking to one other unlucky guy in my DUI class you don't even need to be in your car. All you have to be is drunk (they can even convict you if you are below the legal limit based on the officers testimony) have your keys and the "intent" to drive so you can get nailed if you walk out of a bar and head towards your car. You can also get a DUI while riding a bicycle in NJ. One of the guys in my DUI class got busted after getting a ride from his buddy to tow his car that broke down at a gas station the night before.
