Made some passes today at cecil and tried some different shock settings to help it hook up since for whatever reason after the first pass it didn't wanna hook, I ran the car back in march (still cold out) and ran a 10.14, today in worse air I ran.......

1st pass and new best 1/8mile time:
60ft:1.425
330:4.145
1/8:6.446
mph:106.50
1000ft:8.444
1/4:10.150
mph:131.75

Last pass:
60ft:1.433
330:4.160
1/8:6.458
mph:106.57
1000ft:8.453
1/4:10.154
mph:132.15

Not bad 60fts/runs for worn out M/T Drag Radials. I just picked up my vacuum pump yesterday so when the fall comes I sure hope I can get this thing into the 9's N/A.

Thanks, yeah I know its a double post, the first one I spelled county wrong and tried to fix it, if somebody can delete the other one I'd appreciate it. If you saw my car sitting in the staging lanes at the track you would never guess its as fast as it is. Paint owns me!!:screwy:

Its about 4 different colors of green, its got a black 4" cowl hood.

sleeperstyle, yeah its a sbc(415inch), it has beatin many BBCs at the track.

Thanks, I hope i can get it into the 9's shortly, its be a goal of mine for a long time.

i saw a couple subies down there. a blue one with gold wheels, and a dark red with what looked like konig unknowns

There was a yellow 03/04 Cobra down there with centerline telstar wheels on, I did see it run a 11.11 or 11.18 I can't remember all the other runs he made it was all over the track. I ran a guy with a Nova similar to mine but it had a 540BBC in it, I beat him, I couldn't believe that even after I spun the tires i let off a little and back in it, I had half a car on him at the top end.

that nova w/ a 540 didn't happen to have "yenko" emblems on it? dark green colored...

i was with that guy in the lanes. it had 100 shot on it, and everytime he went WOT it went sideways.

Nice! I think the yellow cobra has my old telstars on it (I traded them for the 10th anni. rims to some guy in the area with a yellow 03 cobra). What did that 540 run? I would think that would run faster than your little motor :rock:

Yeah my dad and I saw that, looked like he came real close to the wall a few times. I was pitted down like 2 trailers from where your buddy parked with the cobra, I was the young guy with the red phillies hat on. If you're ever at cecil again and you see my car stop by and say whats up.
