hey guys, i was just wondering what i should look for when buying an rx7? i know to look for signs of overheating, and to ask about that. but what else should i be looking for on the car? the car is an 88 vert, so if there are any additional things i should look for on that, please don't hold back....

thanks ahead of time:prayer:

i've been looking around online, but all i can find is rebuild kits (looked at atkins rotary, and they seem to be alright). i was wondering if the rotary guys knew anything about local rotary shops (where they are/crediblity) in the Pa/NJ area. in the off chance the new car needs a rebuild soon, i'd like to be prepared.

thanks guys

i'm not looking to do like, 100+ on the way to college or anything (though the roads are nice for it...), but i'm sure the car is faster than what i'm driving now. besides, i'd rather have a nice platform to work from, and build it the way i want it (maybe a turbo swap in a few years, maybe a supercharger on the motor when rebuilt?) also, i just plain like the cars, they look nice to me. thanks for the info though!
