What's everyone opinion on the spt intake? i doubt i'll be able to get an ap so i was thinking about picking up the intake.....

Phil, I'm very happy with it. Butt Dyno seems to feel the difference even if a real dyno doesn't. I say get it......

like any other intake, it doesnt impress me. put the money elsewhere. if you need help spending it i'm sure i could help point you in the right direction :)

This coming from a man who is having a custom intake made. I agree that stock has been proven to be just as good however i don't think k&n are a bad thing just not needed.

no this is coming from a man who has a fmic and cannot use a stock intake any longer. since he knows that intake selection is very important, he is going the distance to have a custom intake made which will suit his needs perfectly.
and if you didnt already know, his needs include, but are not limited to, stomping all over bolt on STis.

It's a good feeling to do that to. :mrgreen: I'll be hoping to break into the 12's up here on Wednesday.

i'd obviously rather get a cobb ap and not an intake, but the cobb ap is $645 and the intake with heatshield is $250 shipped....i check into autospeeds exhaust and i'd aboslutely love to get it, but it's incredibly expensive....
