installing emblem

what the frigg...i picked up the i emblem for the front of my car....
i figured it would be an easy swap...i popped off the original and i go to put the new one on and much to my dismay, it doesnt fit.
anyone know why?....im thinking the style emblem doesnt fit 06's. and i already have everything cleaned up for the new install.:mad:

any ideas??? im thinking about getting the same type of thick double sided tape that was used on the oem emblem.

pink "i" emblem? I dunno bro, that doesn't seem right. I would imagine that the 06 has a different emblem style then.

i know the forester front badge is a slightly different shape than mine... so you may not have the correct one for your car.

i went with blue...more subtle.
but im in a rut. i need to figure something out...
or else i will be the emblemless wrx(and not having an emblem makes the front end look like crap) at the hamilton meet tonight...haha

haha dude chill it will be fine. Put the stock emblem back on, unless you broke it?

we peeled off all the excess tape on the plastic and it all came off the emblem clean...therefore i cant put the old one back on unless i were to get double sided tape again...
ohh man..im a douche towelette.
