any of you know where i can find out if a certain plate has been taken or not? im looking to get a custom plate for the sti.

When you fill out the form you get 3 choices for a custom plate. So if you get your second choice, then you know the first was taken.

You can call the PA Department of Transportation perhaps to see if a specific plate is available? 1-800-932-4600

i just wrote down a bunch and took em to the tag place. they tolled me which ones where taken.

It took me the better part of 2 months plus. Not really sure how long it was but it was a surprise when it showed up. It was like buying yourself a christmas preset and opening it up and truely being surprised.

My plate reads HIWASTAR (from the Deep Purple song Highway Star). Im from NY. Cost's 50 dollars for two years. Check the DMV site for your state. NYS DMV had a spot where you could type what you wanted, check for its availability and see it on a plate of your choice.

The only symbol allowed for NY (at least when I did it 1.5 yrs ago) is the statue of liberty as a separator in the middle of the plate.

you cant get 3 letters followed by 4 numbers for you Mazda guys hopin to do so...its Pa's current criteria so they wont give it to you.

I want to get a personal plate but sometimes I think they are gay or would help aid the cops find your vehicle in the event that you did something wrong.

I wonder if the plate "TROLL" is taken? If not I would definately swipe that up.

prettygood....thats the same exact time i pulled with my 02zx6r...but it trapped a little higher (123-124).
my car traps close to 130 but ill run ya for fun...:drag:
