Finally the guys are still working on this, they are going to fiberglass. It's a touch screen alpine tv with a dvd player behind it since the double din on the M3 slopes so the top dine is longer while the botton is shorter. The screen will be motorized later to let me acces the dvd player in the back. For now up until next week it looks like this

very nice setup - I was looking into building a setup identical to yours using alpine's new gear for 06. should turn out pretty awesome.

I have one but I'm not fond of it so I took it off. Thinking of the M3 GTR wing. Right now I have H&R coilovers, some cf things that extend the flares on the front bumper that I haven't put on yet.

Did your car some with nav??? Cause there is a kit to incorporate your stock nav screen and a rear view camera.

haha I wish. Well if I got one I wouldn't be able to keep the subaru too so I am not sure what I am going to do. I guess I will just wait and see if I like the way the subaru is when it's finished, otherwise white e46 m3 is going to roll in.

Nice, I like white e46 m3's but I couldn't find one with the interior I wanted so silver was my next color choice. I like black interior.
If your concerned about not being able to drive when it snows don't be, a good set of snow tires will make it a beast even when there is a blizzard.

This thread looks like dead but I bumped up because I just got E46 M3 convertible!!! I bought it on ebay motors last week and it's not here yet. I'm flying to Jacksonville FL next Friday to pick up my new toy.
850 miles of driving back home would be nice! I can't wait until Friday. Anybody going Florida with one extra seat?:-p
Dimitri: I didn't know you are considering E46 M3. Man, go for it and we are all M owner from Suby community.

Philly Boy, congratz!
Kai, how much did it run you for the reverse cam? I was thinking about putting one of those in the CSL trunklid, but then I would risk not being able to get into my car as it is the only manual lock that I have left (key hole delete mod).
Lookin great!

my friends are doing all the work but I can ask around for you so I'm not being charged as much. If you don't have the driverside keyhole anymore than I suggest you not get rid of your trunk keyhole just incase. Damn sooo many rich kids on tst......except me, don't be fooled. I'm poor. :(
