The Rota Formula Mesh are nearly identical, BUT only come in 18".

Mike and I were discussing the S203 yesterday. I think this is probably the sexiest creation evAr by subaru.......22B is a close close second. Id give a kidney for one! Maybe they would cut me a better deal if i traded in my STi on one......maybe talk them down to just my left nut or something. :supz: :D

in my oppinion...the left nut is more expensive than a kidney.... but to all his own...

I think the 22b still beats this as a car...maybe not in a race or technology...but i'd rather go w/ a 22b...

i dont like the wing as much... yes...it does almost look like a gt wing...but it seems "ricey" or too "honda" for my taste... It would be sweet if they could make a nice design of the gc rs wing with new contemporary styling... i think that wing is still awesome...just my .02

The 22B will probably be at or near the top of the list as far as sheer Subaru manace, the S203 has it all in a stock appearing package(aside from the wheels and wing, the car is a normal STi).

you guys read the lastest issue of turbo magazine? Subaru will soon offer an ESX tuned STi from the factory that has a full warranty and run a 12.1 quarter mile!

its pretty elaborate with a bright red paint job, white racing stripes, and red interior... blah blah blah

more importantly, it has an upgraded turbo, fuel system, engine management, and intercooler... i'd like to get all the performance upgrades when the package comes out... it'll be nice to have all of that under the warranty :devil:

Sounds nice doesn't ESX specialize in drag racing? All that power must come with a price, maybe laggy turbo?

i'd bet that the turbo would be a little laggy, but not much more than what it is now.. I mean, the 2.5 motor helps in eliminating that lag :)

i'm curious to what their upgraded turbo is... i'm sure it is still a VF series turbo

Are there any suspension mods to the ESX STi?

I would prefer something like the Litchfield Type25. I heard they had input from Prodrive in tuning it.

I'm interested in getting the upgraded STi suspension with the pink rear end links and whatnot... then after some work, it'll be up to Spec C standards :) :rock:

If they're trying to get the car certified for emissions in all 50 states, I would think that means they are selling it nationwide.

What's there to take with a grain of salt? You order it from the dealer, and the car still has the same warranty as any other subaru... so you know it has been well tested...

Call me paranoid. Reading through the warranty forum at NASIOC, it would seem a good candidate for SOA to deny because it is a highly modified race setup. But then again, as you mentioned, it is being sold through dealerships and is limited.
