anyone on this forums have this combo in a 240sx?? If so can you tell me roughly the cost of the project? How was the install? What system did you use to tune with?

don't have it, but
you can talk to Matt from import intelligence
he does RB swaps like it no ones business,
from what i've seen so far RB26 is HUGE but you can shoehorn it in, custom engine mounts and trany mounts are a must. you also will lose one of the twins

I know my buddy talked to a shop down south and they said that they do it for 10k but that includes everything....all they need is a 240sx.

you better of making your own mounts, it's not that hard, mckennny mounts lift the engine 2" and push it farward another 1"

Yea but then id have to fab a whole exhaust. Id rather jsut use their mounts and downpipe and not have any problems

The lower and farther back... the better. Exhaust just sticks out of the bumper more on the back of the car. To use an RB26 you MUST get an RB25 trans unless your building an AWD 240.. ( lol ) RB26's are easy to find, RB25 trans without the engine is hard to find.. Just because F&F has an RB26 does'nt mean it's the best or more economical way to make big power.
