if you know the gear ratio you can use a gear speed calulator to figure ont the top speed for each gear

Yeah, im 99% certain they have a break down of max gear speed for every version aswell as gear ratios. I remember reading it when i was waiting for everything to get finalized with the purchase.

I found a thread where these were ran through the calculator and they came up with 104-105 mph for the 6 speed. I will check my book when I get home.
All I can find online is ratios

I am looking for something documented but would be happy to take it for a spin and see how different it feels then mine. Shame they did not make Electric Blue in MR

4th gears in the MR and IX 5 speed are very close, yes, but EVO8 5 speed 4th gear is a bit longer, about 120 I think. And yes, they fall on their face when shifting to 5th but the IX is not as bad, but it has a lower top speed I believe..I think with about 600whp and a 9kRPM redline (somewhat common anymore) and aero mods, you can have a 200mph capable MR, don't forget at that speed the MR should be making roughly30% more downforce at that speed then a regular EVO..

Shame they did not make Electric Blue in MR

Absolutely 100% yes Searched all dealerships for it. Have no problem saying I got exactly what I wanted. Had two Evos and both were kept inside.. My car and a GG MR.. I had my choice and I chose.

Agree but would love to see that VR4 and have a ride if you still have it.
BTW back on topic.. I am going to go see if the owners manual has it to see if "published"

and put me in the hospital for a minute!!I had 4 GVR4's but basicly left them for the EVO..After the black (fast) one was totaled by a truck while parked, I figured I could not win with those cars and didn't have the time, money, and rescources to build another at the time.. Here is a link to the pics..http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d43/awd4dr/GVR4/ And this is one of my fav pics of the fast one..
