WRX/2.5 RS Weight Differences

Does anyone know the difference in weight and materials used for stock hood and trunks on wrx and 2.5 rs model year 04-05? Thanks!

The trunks on the two are the same. The hood on a WRX is a lot lighter because it's made from aluminum over the RS's steel... don't know the exact weight difference.

I coulda swore the RS trunk was steel and the WRX trunk aluminum like the hood. My wrx trunk is so light? I saw a writeup somewhere with the exact weight differences. Stealth is a possibility in the future. For now just inquiring for my knowledge as well as a freinds, Thanks!

Pretty sure, I know one of the enhancements on the STI Spec C is that is has an aluminum trunk.

I am pretty sure RSs are a good bit lighter than WRXs, but I can't give you numbers for hood and trunk
