i dont think someone is a "dingleberry" because they put a note on your car. the lines are on the ground for a reason. when i was still in temple there were days i had to climb in my passenger side thanks to douches parking over the lines or parking SUV's in the compact spots.

act like a douche, get treated like a douche.

Never ever do anything to draw attention to your car like taking up two spots. Your lucky you just got a nastygram. As much as id like to take two spots even out in left field it does annoy me when i see other people doing it, even more so if the car is unworthy of a double spot:rotfl:

Some guy or gal took up two spots on my street. Mind you parking on my street is always tight. He/she woke up to four deflated tires.

SUV's in compact spots/ people not being able to park, and what this guy did are two totally different things.

if the lot isn't crowded, and you park in the back of the lot, who cares if you take up 2 spots. or even 3-4

I agree that it shouldn't bother people.....but just because it shouldn't doesn't mean it won't. I mean, isn't the whole idea of doing that to protect your vehicle? If you know that parking in that manner draws unwanted attention to your vehicle then why risk it? Might as well just park your car next to the SUVs with the bratty kids getting in and out.....

There are better ways to protect your doors than parking across spots and pissing people off:

besides the annoyance of actually blocking someone from parking, taking 2 spots also presents an aura of ****iness, so in that regard, no it isnt different. its just something that you KNOW pisses people off, so why do it and then act suprised when someone leaves a note? like someone else said it could have been way worse than a note.

i cant stand people who take two spots. some asshole does it in my development with his 1998 bmw peice of ****. im about ready to take a bat to his car because he takes up the two closest spots everyday.

if your worried about your car just park farther away, thats all.

on a side note i as well am very surprised the guy at walmart could write so well.

why is everyone so anti wal-mart lol...i mean im far from cheap but some of the deals they have there are awesome...like movies and games are really cheap, car cleaning supplies are pretty cheap, and condoms are only $5 for a 12 pack...you would pay close to $11 somewhere else...i go to wal mart for a good amount of **** and i save a decent amount of money

i agree they have awesome prices, and they draw me in,.. but i need to get IN AND OUT because i cant stand the generally filthy state of the store and most of the people who shop there. im speaking strictly about the one by me though,.. i stopped in one up in the poconos and it was much more tolerable

oh, and for the record,.. target is cheaper for condoms haha(and it seems like some walmarts dont even have them at all)

oh and a tip.. dont buy ANYTHING thats sold exclusively by walmart,.. like their brand of lamps and crap. i bought one of them and it came out of the box short circuited.. as soon as i plugged it in it was done.

also bought a toaster oven there, which EXPLODED(dont ask me how a toaster oven explodes.. but it did, and im glad i wasnt in the kitchen to get peppered with shards of glass). upon further inspection of the box, i realized that although it was produced by GE, it was made exclusively for walmart.

Yeah, what's with the Wal-Mart condescenscion? I have a master's degree and two bachelor's, all my teeth, and my clothes don't have holes in them, but I shop at Wal-Mart every week. Granted, there are some strange people there, but have you been to a mall lately?

I think it's flat INSANE to have an arrogant attitude and spend more of your hard earned money by shopping at places with 50-100% higher prices.

On the parking spot thing, I always thought people who took up two spots were arrogant poseurs - if you want to protect the car, park away from other people and walk a bit..that's the price of having and keeping a nice car.

First off, I try to never go cheap when investing in something which can possibly cut off circulation to my penis.

Just a rule of thumb I try to live by :)

Secondly,

I was driving my road runner which is as wide as a SUV and I park in the very last two spots in the entire parking lot. Its not like I was in the only remaining 2 spots, or even 2 good spots lol.

Whats wrong with a pre-med shopping at walmart? I needed to replace a few bulbs on the old beast and those stupid computers and books at wal-mart only go back to like 1985 or some $hit so I had to run in and out like 6 times all the way to back of the lot.

^ Totally agree it was driving a 1995 vtec prelude with shaved door handles/ trunk/ tail lights/ windshield wipers/ demon xxx 2k03 body kit and dubs.

But it was my 71 boat in the very last 2 spots in the entire lot, way in the back. The guy had to take a 2min. hike to my car just to put the note on it lol

yea i duno why someone would walk all the way out there just to do that...i mean i guess if you were right in the front half of the lot but since you werent that was pretty pointless for him to do that...and i think barry mentioned it was on a label for a blank tape...who buys blank tapes anyway? its 2006, lol...blank tapes died off like 6 years ago at least
