Davisville Rd. was packed with traffic and Street Road/County Line was NOT moving at all. It took me an hour to get to work and it usually takes me twenty minues.
This was Street Road around 9:15AM:

flooding is bad here too, wasnt sure I'd actually make it to work. Be interesting to see how the flood wall does once the water here crests about 4 feet above our flood stage.

Im wondering how downtown Easton is looking right now. I know the delaware river was up pretty dam high last night. Normally when we have floods downtown is covered. Last flood we had the Mcdonalds and stuff like that where completely under water!!!!

I have had food poisoning since yesterday... definately no fun.
I love how your guys are pissed cause its taking you a long time to get to work:
here is my day----
wake up at 4:45 to my cats freaking out and running all over the apartment...go downstairs--and I hear what sounds like a really loud running toilet. Glance into the basement....3-4ft of water.
Next thing I do...glance outside
my street is now a lake, my car is surrounded by about half a foot of flowing water.
water subsides by 8am---I open my car to see the damage. About 3 inches of standing brown water all over the floor or my subie. Drivers seat appears dry, but when I push on it water soaks through. I jump in---hold my breath and turn the key. The engine stumbles and shoots water out the exhaust--but it starts...now I have the fun of drying my car out and seeing how bad its gonna stink when it dries. Also, my exhaust sounds weird so im kinda worried about that too...
rain f-ing sucks!

yeah..downingtown is especially bad because it has the brandywine running through it and its kind of in a little depression so all the water just flows the easiest way it can to the center of town. The easiest way was apparently through my driveway. I will post pics soon.

thats terrible...what did you do with all the water in the basement? did anything down there get damaged?

will it evaporate or something?

there wasnt much of anything in the basement but junk. Some of my girlfriends clothes got wet, but I think they are washable.
However--I had TWO stock WRX axlebacks down there that were submerged..they are currently on my back porch trying to dry out. I can still hear water swishing around in there...im f-ing pissed cause one of them I was storing for a friend of mine. My car is at my parents house drying off with the de-humidifier.

good luck with everything...if this helps at all when my family had a flood in our basement or got water damage anywhere (this should work with your car too) we went to modern equipment and rental...the closest one to you is in Uwchland PA on East Township Line Road and rented a Huge high powered fan for a day and it dried out everything without a problem...i duno how much it costs but it definitely gets the job done...

It is pretty sunny around here. My mom told me that someone went around one of those barracades(sp?) that block one of the flooded roads and got a ticket. I kind of laughed haha. Thank god I don't have to go anywhere that was flooded. Sorry to hear about your car dude.

yes, my friend had a mugen muffler for his prelude and the stupid thing was angled straight up so everytime i rained his car sounded like **** for a week. eventually we drilled a small hole in the pipe before the muffler for it to drain out. what a peice of **** that was.
so in conclusion, it will go away and thats what the sound is
Ok here are some pics...
this is what my car looked like parked in the driveway

Holy Crap WRXD, that sucks. Good idea with the dehumidifier though, I never would have thought of that.
I really hope the water doesnt ruin your electrical system, but I have a feeling you are going to run into some problems. Call your insurance company.

When I drove to Morrisville at 9:30am, traffic was backed up and completely stopped from just past the Oxford Valley exit on Route 1 all the way to TRENTON! I had to get off at Fairless Hills and take Trenton Ave. Then, later in the day, I was on my way to the park and 413 was completely closed before the railroad bridges past 213. I heard a lot of people were evacuated from homes all over the area...
