anyone local using ECUFlash yet? It consists of a $89.00 cable and free software that lets you change fuel/timing and a bunch of other table in your ECU. I've been playing with it for about a month now, its the best tuning device on the market for EVO's. :prayer:

no more paying 200 for a ****ty flash!

yeah its out there for subarus as well... some guys are really happy with it, but most have stayed away from it. i've had my eye on it for some time... no real plans to take the plunge but i wouldnt count out the possibility.

its http://www.openecu.org/index.php?title=EcuFlash, ecuflash is in many ways very similiar to ecutek it works on both evos and wrx's, its very easy to use, but can also damage alot of things u should have at least a wideband and an egt gauge to make sure ur "corrections" work out fine, u can change stationary rev limiter without a problem to any rpm desireable etc. i think with some time people might actually be able to use this in their cars

gotta friend using it on his 05 evo, works pretty sweet, i'm impressed.

will be getting my car flashed soon as my cams come in by sean ivey w/ the ecuflash prog. in my opinion it's better, it's something that you can check out and possibly update later in time if you add something to your car.
