i need some info on dsm engines

does any one know if i can put rods and pistons for a 6 bolt in a 7 bolt? even the eagle 7 bolt rods say you have to use 6 bolt bearings so i was thinking if i used 6 bolt bearings it might work out. and i know people mix & match 1g rods and 2g pistons. but i might be getting a good deal on a rod & piston combo but im pretty sure they are for a 6 bolt. thanks.

Check around on the DSM forums, and the general consensus is not to put the effort into building a 7-bolt motor. You can look into JDM 6-bolt engines or building a 6-bolt yourself if you want to go that route.
