I am looking for an intake for my '06 Impreza 2.5i, and i haven't found any, any recommendations? I was also looking at the Rallitek PerfectPower6 ECU, too early or what?

i honestly dont know if any companies have made intakes for the new 06 non turbo cars. i would tell you to check with the big manufacturers like COBB, Injen, K&N, etc. let us know what you find.
as for the engine management: its never too early to get engine management as having it will increase the power of your bold on mods. post up some more info on that particular setup, i havnt heard much about it.

THE PP6 ROCKS..... The pp6 tunes in open loop for timing and fuel. Its a very well made system and when tuned well will perform flawlessly. Im using it on my 1995 ej18-turbo project. Im am pretty sure that rallitek makes a plug and play harness for the newer ECUs. Goto rallitek's website and check it out. I suggest that you get a professional tuner to tend to it though. Messing with the values while not knowing what you are doing can result in a boom

Edit: - It's non turbo! I'm going to stand up to give my brain some air.

^I think most NA subys do like intakes.

Oh my! I'm sorry I can't belive I missed that. I suppose thats what you get for hanging out on Subaru only forums (they are broken up turbo or non-turbo). I just asssumed I'm sorry!

Are the 06s running the same EJ25 engine configuration that they have always ran? If so, basically any NA intake made for 2.5L NA subaru engines should fit you. I reccomend cobb (what i run)

Pick up a Cobb intake, great quality, great company. It is not cold air though, it is a short ram.

Looks like the price went down, and they now are producing a new model.

Since your running a NA engine I would definitely go for a cold air intake.... you don't want the engine sucking too much hot air from under the hood since there's no intercooler to cool the charge down.... especially if you sit in traffic.

AEM makes one that fits the 02-05 RS, I don't see why it wouldn't fit the 2.5i. Injen makes one too, let me know if your still interested and I can find out for you.
